In my 20′s, my father and I made a habit of seeing a matinee movie every Friday morning. Since his passing I have continued the tradition on my own, every Friday catching the early show at our local theater here in Napa California. It has been very cathartic and was immensely helpful to me in those first few months after his passing.

In memory of my father, I have decided to turn my little Friday ritual into a weekly review for Panda Manga. My father’s name was Ken, and his nickname among our web design team was “Special-K”, thus the title of this weekly review series. So this goes out to you dad, I’m happy to share your love of movies with our friends, family and the community here at PandaManga.com, we miss you very much! – JP

So…. The podcast recording was scheduled for last Sunday, but the entire Panda Manga crew has a new sufficiently geeky obsession… Magic The Gathering! Ha Ha! We were at the pre-release for the new “Avacyn Restored” set at Outer Planes Comics and Games in Santa Rosa California. We had so much fun and lost track of time that when we got home it was too late to record.  We had to reschedule and are recording tonight. So fear not! The next podcast is coming, but its coming a week late… sorry guys. You can expect the 3rd zombie survival podcast to arrive on Wednesday the 9th! See you then!!
